You can reach the DGP telephone via Whatsapp, 06-58075759, or at the team on location (locations to follow in the briefing). In case of an emergency it is better to call us, then to send a Whatsapp message.

More detailed information about the event will follow. The campsite is within walking distance from the circuit.

You are obliged to be present from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 August. Keep in mind that you will still work until at least 9 p.m. on Sunday. You have the option to sleep on the campsite on Sunday evening.

You may not post content from behind the scenes (e.g. from your food court or bar where you work). It is also strictly forbidden to post a photo of your accreditation card during the event.

You can store your phone/wallet in a safe place in the bar. Do not bring any valuables to your workplace, Mise en Place is not responsible for loss/theft.

Zandvoort is free of car traffic during the Formula 1. This means that it is not possible to come to Zandvoort by car from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 August. The location of the campsite will be announced at a later date. Depending on this, we will offer appropriate travel advice.

Via the Mise en Place NL app under the button ‘Jobs’ or via your web browser (mep.maqqie.app) you can find all available jobs for which you can register.

You will be informed of the working hours approximately 1 week prior to the event. Take into account +/- 9 hours of work per day. You will start working between 06:00-09:00. You work every day from Thursday to Sunday.

You can find the working hours in the Mise en Place NL app a week prior to the event. You will receive the location with the bar number by email a day in advance, and you will be taken to the correct location from the check-in.

Yes, you will be assigned to the same outlet every day. That way you know exactly what is expected of you there!

Yes, at least 30 minutes per working day, when exactly will depending on how busy it is in your outlet.

You can submit the same preference, for example that you both want to work in food, or that you both prefer bar. However, this is no guarantee that you will be placed together in the bar or in the food court. Due to the size of the project this is not possible, planning-wise.

Yes, during your working hours you will receive staff meals. These consist of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Water and soft drinks are available at your workplace for during your shift.

It is allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the campsite. If you want to bring drinks, there is a limit. You may bring a maximum of 4.5 liters of soft drinks + drinks with less than 14.5% alcohol. Hard liquor is not allowed. All drinks must be sealed and packed in original packaging. Glassware is prohibited!

No, there are no refrigerators available at the campsite for food and/or drinks you have brought with you.

No, this is always done in consultation with the head of the bar. You can drink water and some soft drinks.

 

No, this is not allowed. 

Security and first aid are available 24 hours a day. Make sure you always inform your contact person from Mise en Place when you need first aid and/or security.

There are toilets and hot showers on the campsite. You can use these for free.

The camping pitches are not supplied with electricity. The showers have sockets available that are suitable for hair straighteners, hair dryers and electric razors.

Bring your own power bank(s) and charger. In addition, power banks can be rented at the reception at the campsite.

There is a camping shop on the catering square with a small range of practical items (toothbrush, toothpaste, gel, shampoo, etc.). Smoking products are not sold on the camping site and/or GP site. Again, only cashless payments apply here.

There is no WiFi available on the campsite.

Lockers are available at the campsite (for a fee). The costs of a locker will follow later. The dimensions of the locker are 25 x 30 x 45 cm. Limited availability.

Please assume you cannot watch the race as you are working during these hours.

During working hours you are not allowed to leave your bar to watch the race, even when it is quiet.

Only when your shift is finished, and you have been signed off with your bartender, are you free to walk around the event area.

No, it is forbidden to consume alcohol during working hours. When we are notified about this,  you will be removed from the site, and immediate dismissal will follow.

You may consume alcohol outside of your working hours (of course not before your shift). Just keep in mind that you are at a work event and keep it tidy.
Drugs, on the other hand, are prohibited on the entire premises and possession or use of drugs will result in immediate dismissal.

No, we expect you to be well rested, and properly groomed during your shift. 

Your staff card will only grant you access to certain areas, all necessary areas will be included. 

No, as an employee you are not allowed to take a seat in the stands, not even outside working hours. Your accreditation card does not allow this.

No, when you are at work, this is not allowed.

The following items are not allowed at the campsite: soft or hard drugs, laughing gas, glassware, knives, laser pointers, weapons or firearms, weapon-resembling objects, generators, gas and oil lamps, gas bottles, gas stoves and ( disposable) barbecues, aerosols (excluding sun cream, deodorant and perfume), candles, umbrellas (we advise you to bring ponchos as a precaution), musical instruments, (air)horns or similar items, fireworks or flares, clothing with provocative expressions, pets (excluding assistance dogs), advertising material such as flyers, leaflets, banners (unless approved and with permission by the organisation), professional film, photography or sound equipment (unless approved and provided with accreditation by the organisation), drones (both on the ground and in the air).

Mise en Place asks you to stick to the following grooming standards:
Gentlemen: Well-groomed hair, with long hair fixed and neatly shaved or trimmed facial hair
Ladies: Hair fixed and no fake nails / nail polish
Ladies and Gentlemen: No visible tattoos (in the face or neck) large
piercings, or piercings in the face.

Dark sturdy sneakers, dark neat jeans without holes/conspicuous things.
You get a T-shirt and vest that you have to wear during working hours. Make sure you have your own t-shirt with you if you want to go to the site after your shift.

 

No, you wear long trousers at all times.

No, this is not allowed for bar and food staff. The workplaces are covered/shaded, with the exception of employees for the beer bags/beer buggies. They may wear sun protection in consultation with the area manager.

You cannot work without work clothes. You will then have to go back to the campsite to collect your clothes. This happens in your own time. You will only be paid when you are at your workplace with the right clothing.

The location of the campsite is not yet confirmed to everyone. You will find the address in the briefing about the Dutch Grand Prix. You will receive the address no later than 1 August.

You are obliged to spend the night at the campsite, unless you live in the Zandvoort area. We will communicate in advance whether you will spend the night at the campsite.

It is possible to arrive at the campsite on Wednesday evening, you leave the campsite no later than Monday morning. Exact times for the arrival times will be in the briefing.

No, Mise en Place will cover the costs of the overnight stay for you.

Yes, you are responsible for bringing the right camping gear.

If you sleep alone, this may be a 2 person tent max. Bigger is not allowed for 1 person.

Yes, this will be shared with you two weeks prior to the event.

You can play music on the campsite. Keep your colleagues in mind, so limit the volume. After 23:00 you can no longer play music near the tents.

No, you will be assigned a spot on the campsite. This area is for Mise en Place employees.

Nee, je krijgt een plek toegewezen op de camping. Dit gebied is bestemd voor medewerkers van Mise en Place.

See below what you will earn during the Dutch Grand Prix (including holiday pay and days):
Jobper up to 20 years old €12.20
Jobper 20 years €12.90
Jobper 21+ years old €14.30

Keep in mind that when you switch off the payroll tax credit, a part of the tax will be deducted!

Your manager records the hours worked. You sign at the end of your shift to approve your hours, without a signature your hours are not valid and you cannot be paid. So don’t leave the bar without signing it! These hours are booked for you by Mise en Place. Changes afterwords are not possible.

The payment of services worked during the DGP will take place on September 8.

If you incur travel expenses, you may declare a maximum of €21. Please note, you do need a public transport declaration overview for this.

Are you too late to declare? Then unfortunately we cannot process your claim.
Can’t submit a claim? Please contact us within the specified period, after which we will no longer be able to process your question about your claim.

In the week of the event you will receive an email about when you will receive the payments. It also states exactly how and when you must enter expense claims. So read this email carefully!

You must pass this on by telephone to the number in the briefing. Notify us as soon as possible if you have to work the next day.

Do you get sick at night? Then call no later than 2 hours before the start of your morning shift, or before 9:00 am if you start in the afternoon.

Report this by telephone to the number stated in the briefing.

You may indicate this to your manager (head of the bar, food manager, etc.) during your shift.
